Morocco, Vietnam sign pact to promote investment

Morocco and Vietnam signed an agreement to promote bilateral investments in Rabat Friday.

The agreement signed by Moroccan finance minister Nizar Baraka and visiting Vietnamese deputy foreign minister Bui Thanh Son provides additional guarantee to protect respective investments.

The agreement aims to promote the flow of trade and investment between the 2 countries according to the Moroccan state radio.

At present, the volume of trade exchange between the 2 countries hit millions of dollars annually.

In Y 2009, Viet Nam’s exports to Morocco stood at US$50-M, and imports from Morocco stood only at US$3.5-M, said the state radio report.
