Investors, businessmen of Morocco urged to invest in Pakistan

ISLAMABAD: The Federation of Pakistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) has called upon investors and business community of Morocco to take optimum benefits from investment opportunities being offered in Pakistan in different sectors of the economy.

Offer to this effect was made during a meeting of the President FPCCI Senator Haji Ghulam Ali and the Ambassador of Morocco to Pakistan Mohammad Rida El Fassi here Chamber House in Karachi on Monday.

Both the leaders discussed matters of the mutual interest with special reference to the promotion of trade and investment besides exchange of delegations between the two brotherly countries.

Honourary Council General of Morocco to Pakistan Mirza Ishtiaq Baig, Honouray Council General of Yamen to Pakistan Mirza Ikhtiyar Baig, Vice President of FPCCI Muhammad Akbar Khan Advocate and Secretary General of the Chamber Masood Alam Rivi and member of the business community were also present.

Speaking on the occasion, Ambassador of Morocco to Pakistan Mohammad Rida El Fassi said that both the brotherly countries enjoy friendly relations and called for furthering them for the benefit of the people of the two countries.

The Ambassador also invited the President of FPCCI Senator Haji Ghulam Ali with a business delegation to visit Morocco for exploring the investment opportunities between the two countries.

Senator Haji Ghulam Ali in his remarks said that Pakistan and its business community is keen to promote trade and investment with Morocco and also urged the business community of Morocco to take benefit from the investment friendly environment being offered in Pakistan for the benefit of the two brotherly countries.
