FEZ: H H Sheikha Moza bint Nasser, Chairperson, Qatar Foundation, and HRH Princess Lalla Salma of Morocco attended the opening ceremony of the 22nd Fez Festival of World Sacred Music, organised under the patronage of King Mohammed VI with the theme ‘The Women Founders’.

H H Sheikha Moza watched the opening night premiere of ‘A Sky full of Stars’ in which the women of the Orient lead the audience on a journey of discovery into the history of Morocco and the myths of the East. The show included music, lighting effects and spectacular stage mapping.

The tale is a dream-like journey into the world of wise, mystical and enchanting women. Against a backdrop of stars, Sheherazade has taken the audience on her journey to change the heart of the vindictive King Chahryar and, by doing so, save the women of his kingdom.
