Pakistan, Morocco should enhance trade: Hina

Foreign Minister Hina Rabbani Khar Thursday said that there is dare need for enhancing trade and economic ties between Pakistan and Morocco. She was talking to the Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation of the Kingdom of Morocco, , who called on her in her office. Hina expressed the hope that the next session of the Joint Ministerial Commission, which is scheduled to take place later this year, will help identify new areas of cooperation. She also highlighted the need for joint ventures in fertilizer, agro-based and pharmaceutical industries. She said that she was looking forward to visit Rabat, the dates for which will be finalized through diplomatic channels. Nasser Bourita said that the purpose of his visit to Islamabad was meant to have closer consultations with Pakistani counterparts on issues that were important for regional and global peace and security as both Pakistan and Morocco were currently non-permanent members of the Security Council. He also emphasized on holding joint bilateral consultations between the two countries on a regular basis.
