Jacques Chagnon
Rabat – A Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between the House of Representatives and the National Assembly of Quebec, providing for the setting up of a parliamentary friendship group.
The Memorandum, signed by Lower House Speaker Abdelwahed Radi and Speaker of Québec ‘s National Assembly Jacques Chagnon, also aims at strengthening cooperation relations between the two institutions.
Speaking to the press following the signing ceremony, Chagnon commended the efforts undertaken in Morocco to reinforce the rule of law and promote tolerance and openness.
Changon is on a visit to Morocco (August 28-31) as part of a parliamentary mission to promote cooperation relations with Morocco.
