Morocco’s CPI up 1.3% y/y in January -planning agency

Morocco’s annual consumer price index rose to 1.3% in January compared to the same month last year, the high commission for planning said on Friday.

Food prices rose 1.3% year-on-year in January, while non-food prices increased 1.4%.

On a month-on-month basis, the consumer price index dropped 0.1% in January. (Reporting by Ahmed Eljechtimi Editing by Chris Reese)
