Morocco Telecoms Boss Wants To Invest In C/d’Ivoire’s ICT Sector

The head of the Morocco Telecoms Directory, Abdeslam Ahizoune who met Tuesday with the Ivoirian head of State, Alassane Ouattara has solicited “clear instructions and orientations” with the view to investing in Cote d’Ivoire in the field of new information and communication technologies.

According to Mr. Ahizoune, the business atmosphere in Cote d’Ivoire today is quite enabling and favorable to investments.

He furthermore welcomed the Ivoirian leader’s support to the investments in his country in particular in the area of ICTs a sector creating wealth and job opportunities.

The Moroccan businessman said they prioritize the ICT sector in a bid to back the democratization of the sector covering the mobile and fix telephone and internet which is a crucial tool in the communication of the firms, the citizens, the students and researchers.

Abdesalam Ahizoune has hailed the brotherly relations binding President Alassane Ouattara and King Mohamed VI, both of whom have expanded efforts to boost the political and economic cooperation between Morocco and Ivory Coast.
