Morocco Observation Satellite Launched

Morocco’s first Earth observation satellite was successfully launched from the Kourou space centre in French Guiana by a Vega rocket on 7 November, Arianspace announced.

Weighing 1,110 kg, the Mohammed IV satellite and supporting systems was made by Airbus and Thales Alenia Space. It is designed to perform multiple roles, including border and coastal surveillance.
