Make a Casablanca connection

Tiazza Rose speaks about her journey from Casablanca, Morocco to the Rogue Valley at the Friendship Force of Southern Oregon.

Rose, originally from Morocco, an accomplished dancer and also will demonstrate traditional belly dance at the meeting at 7 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church, 85 S. Holly St., Medford.

Friendship Force of Southern Oregon is part of an international network of clubs dedicated to creating understanding between people of different cultures through travel exchanges. Local club members plan to travel to Casablanca in May where they will be joined by club members from New Zealand and Australia. The goal of the FFSO is to “change the way you see the world.”
