Kenyan Stephen Tum Wins International Marathon Of Marrakech

Marrakech – Kenyan Stephen Tum finished first in the 23rd edition of the international Marathon of Marrakech posting two hours, eight minutes and 51/100.

Stephen Tum was followed by Ethiopian Gezahagen Girma who crossed the finish line in two hours, nine minutes and 29 seconds, while the third place went to Kenyan Daniel Rono with a timing of two hours, nine minutes and 50 seconds.

Moroccan Soumiya Labani won the woman’s marathon crossing the finish line in two hours, 34 minutes and 56 seconds, followed by Melaki El Fenesh (2:36:08) and Abeba Gérémeskel (2:36:25) both from Ethiopia.

Around 7000 athelets from different nationalities took part in the 42,195-kilometer marathon, organized by the Grand Atlas Association.
