Madrid – New EU special representative for the Southern Mediterranean region, Bernardino Léon, will visit on Tuesday Morocco, kicking off a four-nation Arab tour, said Monday European diplomatic sources.

Léon will also visit Tunisia, Egypt and Jordan, said the same source as quoted by the Spanish media.

The Spaniard diplomat will held, during his visit to Morocco, several meetings with the Moroccan officials to inform them about the content and goals of his mission as a New EU special representative for the Southern Mediterranean region.

Recently, Léon had told the press that Morocco is an example of a country which has managed to make democratic changes within stability.
