Despite broad support for the constitutional reforms, thousands of Moroccans have taken to the streets.

Citing the impossibility of a 98% vote in favor of the constitutional reforms proposed by King Mohammed VI as “unbelievable,” at least one pro-democracy Moroccan activist has decried Friday’s vote as “corrupt.” Mountazar Drissi. in a report published by the BBC,  has cited numerous cases of multiple votes cast by single individuals in the referendum as well as instances of voters being shipped into cities from the countryside.
