Turkey’s largest seabass and seabream producer Kilic Deniz is still assessing whether to carry out its plans to build a 15,000 metric ton farm in Morocco, Sinan Kiziltan, executive vice president at the company, told Undercurrent News.
“We’re still doing a feasibility study on different markets,” said Kiziltan. The intention is to calculate whether producing abroad is profitable, he said. (more…)

Many of my friends dislike the term “Arab Spring,” which was created and made famous by the Western media. The oldest “spring” I remember is the “Prague Spring” of 1968, when the then-leader of Czechoslovakia, Alexander Dubček—a Slovak—led a reformist wave that challenged the traditional communist line Czechoslovakia had followed since the Second World War, particularly that of the Antonín Novotný era between 1953 and 1968. LONDON–Circle Oil PLC (COP.LN) said Wednesday that it is looking to drill its second well, CGD-12, at the Sebou permit in Morocco.
The second well will test a dipping fault at 1,021 meters in the Guebbas Formation within which many of the previous discoveries have been successfully drilled. (more…)
