Morocco Affirms Support For “Fair Solution” in Mali



Morocco has reaffirmed its support for efforts to achieve a politically acceptable solution in northern Mali, which respects the unity and sovereignty of the country, Salaheddine Mezouar, the kingdom’s minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation declared. Morocco Targets 20 Million Tourists


Morocco attracted 10 million tourists in the last two years and its goal was to reach 20 million tourists by 2020, said a senior government official.

“We are on track to achieve the goal of four0 per cent of our tourism being driven by domestic tourists,” added Dr Lahcen Haddad, Minister of Tourism, speaking on the sidelines of the recent Ministerial Discussion Forum on the future of tourism in Mena. (more…)

PetroMaroc Corporation plc – Q2 2014 Results Published


During the second quarter of 2014, PETROMAROC CORPORATION PLC (TSXV: PMA) (the Company or PetroMaroc) completed drilling of its second exploration well, Kamar-1, which encountered two prospective natural gas zones in the onshore operated Sidi Moktar licence in the Essaouira Basin, Morocco.
